our story
Grace Hill Church is built around the idea of learning what it means to follow the way of Jesus Christ. We believe this happens when people experience God’s grace in the gospel, which has the power to transform every aspect of their lives.
This is why our church gathers as a community on Sundays to experience God’s grace found in Jesus Christ. This is why our church is sent into our cities throughout the week to live out God’s grace towards our neighbors. And this is why our church wants to partner with God in His mission to offer His grace to the world.
In a life that often leads to guilt and shame, our prayer is to be a local church that functions as a "city on a hill" by offering grace found in Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to raise passionate followers of Christ in all of life.
A Church's mission explains why a local church exists.
As Christians, we want our church's mission to be committed to the Great Commission (MT 28:18-20),
the Great Command (MT 22:35-40), and the Great Requirement (MIC 6:8).
what we believe
We are a Reformed Baptist church and our theology is rooted in the major tenets of the Protestant Reformation. This means our church affirms the authority of God’s word, God’s sovereignty in salvation, and meaningful church membership.
Our church’s beliefs, commitments, and governances are summarized in three foundational documents:
1.
Statement of Faith
2.
Members Covenant
3.
Church Constitution
We seek to keep the gospel and its implications at the core of all our church's ministries. This should be seen both vertically (relationship with God), horizontally (relationships with others), and culturally (social renewal and cultural change).
